Ryder Cup star Tyrrell Hatton captured the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, equalling Jon Rahm's record of five Rolex Series victories. Hatton entered the final round one shot behind Daniel Hillier but carded a three-under-par 69 to finish on 15 under at Emirates Golf Club.

Ryder Cup star Tyrrell Hatton captured the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, equalling Jon Rahm's record of five Rolex Series victories. Hatton entered the final round one shot behind Daniel Hillier but carded a three-under-par 69 to finish on 15 under at Emirates Golf Club. Hatton and Hillier engaged in a thrilling duel throughout the round. Despite some nervy moments, Hatton held his nerve and secured the victory with a crucial birdie putt on the 18th hole. Hillier, who shot a 71, finished in second place.

This victory holds significant meaning for Hatton, adding his name to the illustrious list of champions at this prestigious event. He expressed his elation and acknowledged the pressure he felt down the stretch. Hatton now moves back inside the Top 10 in the Official World Golf Ranking, last time he was ranked inside the top 10 was Week 25 – 20th June 2021.
