PGA Tour - Truist Championship

Sepp Straka clinched his second PGA TOUR victory of the season at the Truist Championship, edging out Shane Lowry in a tense final round at Philadelphia Cricket Club. The Austrian golfer carded a 2-under 68, capitalising on a late stumble from Lowry on the 16th hole to seize the lead and ultimately secure the win.

Lowry, who had been neck and neck with Straka for much of the back nine, missed the green on the par-3 16th, leading to a bogey and falling one shot behind. The Irishman then missed a birdie opportunity on the 17th and compounded his woes with a three-putt bogey on the final hole.

Straka, who previously won The American Express in January, calmly two-putted for par on the 18th to secure his fourth career PGA TOUR title. This victory makes him only the second multiple winner on the TOUR this season, alongside Rory McIlroy.

For Lowry, the wait for a solo PGA TOUR victory continues, his last being The Open Championship in 2019. He finished tied for second alongside Justin Thomas, who shot a final round 67. Tommy Fleetwood carded a 65 to finish in a tie for fourth.

PGA Tour - ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic

New Zealander Ryan Fox dramatically clinched his first PGA TOUR victory at the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic on Sunday, sinking a stunning chip-in from just outside 50 feet on the first playoff hole. The win also secures his spot in the upcoming PGA Championship.

Fox carded a final round of 5-under 66, but looked set to miss out as Mackenzie Hughes held a one-shot lead heading to the 18th. However, Hughes found trouble off the tee, forcing a pitch-out and a missed 10-foot par putt, leading to a three-way playoff at 15-under 269 alongside Fox and Harry Higgs. Higgs himself had a chance to win outright but narrowly missed a 25-foot birdie putt on the final green in regulation, signing for a 68.

Returning to the 18th for the playoff, Hughes and Higgs both found the fairway with their drives, leaving them with reasonable birdie opportunities. Fox, meanwhile, was in the rough, chipping onto the collar of the green. In a moment of brilliance, he then chipped in for a birdie, raising his arms in triumph as the ball dropped.

Both Hughes and Higgs subsequently missed their birdie attempts, handing the victory to the 38-year-old Fox. A three-time winner on the DP World Tour, including the prestigious BMW PGA Championship in 2023, Fox had been eager to find similar success on the PGA TOUR.

The victory not only earns Fox a coveted spot in the PGA Championship but also provides him with a two-year exemption on the PGA TOUR and an entry into The Sentry at Kapalua next year. Hughes had already qualified for the PGA Championship.

DP World Tour - Turkish Airlines Open

Martin Couvra has secured his first DP World Tour title with a brilliant final round at the Turkish Airlines Open. The 22-year-old Frenchman, who graduated from the HotelPlanner Tour last season, carded a stunning closing 64 at Regnum Carya to finish on 17-under par, two shots ahead of China's Haitong Li and Spain's Jorge Campillo.

Couvra had held the lead at the halfway point but slipped back after a third-round 72, leaving him four strokes adrift heading into the final day. However, a blistering start with four birdies in the opening six holes propelled him back into contention. He then engaged in a tight battle with Li at the top of the leaderboard after overnight leader Brandon Robinson Thompson faltered.

Despite a slight wobble around the turn, Couvra regained momentum with a hat-trick of birdies from the 11th. Li, who had also started strongly, bogeyed the 13th after hitting a tree, allowing Couvra to move two shots clear with a birdie on the 14th. Li was unable to close the gap in the closing holes.

Campillo made a late charge with five birdies in eight holes, but his challenge ultimately fell short. Robinson Thompson finished in fourth place, with England's Matthew Southgate and Dutchman Joost Luiten tied for fifth.

Asian Tour - International Series Japan presented by Moutai

Australia's Lucas Herbert finished in spectacular fashion for the second consecutive day, carding an eagle on the par-five 18th to secure a commanding five-shot victory at the International Series Japan presented by Moutai. The 29-year-old Australian's seven-under-par 64 on Sunday at Caledonian Golf Club saw him reach 20-under for the tournament, earning him his maiden Asian Tour and International Series title.

Herbert, who started the final day tied for the lead, quickly established himself at the top of the leaderboard and was never seriously challenged. Japan's Yuta Sugiura, who played consistently, finished in a tie for second place at 15-under alongside Korea's Younghan Song. American Cameron Tringale finished solo fourth.

Herbert's remarkable win was set up by a stunning turnaround in the third round, which included two eagles in the final three holes. His victory propels him to the top of both the Asian Tour Order of Merit and The International Series Rankings. He credited his improved driving and a second-hand putter for his success. Sugiura, the highest-placed Japanese player, rued missed opportunities on the greens, while Song acknowledged Herbert's superior performance. The International Series Japan is part of the Asian Tour's elevated events that provide a pathway to the LIV Golf League.

HotelPlanner Tour - Challenge de España

Clement Charmasson held his nerve on the final day to clinch his first HotelPlanner Tour title at the Challenge de España, played at Fontanals Golf Club. The Frenchman carded a closing two-under-par 69, adding to his impressive earlier rounds of 65, 67, and 66. His 17-under-par total was enough to secure a one-shot victory over Dane Victor Sidal Svendsen.

Charmasson, who started the final round with a slender one-shot lead, extended this to four with just five holes remaining. However, a dramatic finish saw his lead reduced to a single shot before he held on for the breakthrough win in front of his family and friends. An emotional Charmasson expressed his pride, highlighting the significance of sharing the victory with his parents after years of hard work.

Despite a comfortable lead turning into a tight contest with dropped shots on the 14th and 15th holes, Charmasson remained resolute, parring the final holes to seal the victory. This triumph marks a significant leap in the Road to Mallorca Rankings, as Charmasson climbs 108 places to ninth.

ProGolf Tour - Raiffeisen Pro Golf Tour St. Pölten

Czech golfer Filip Mruzek secured victory at the Raiffeisen Pro Golf Tour 2025 in St. Pölten with a dramatic birdie putt on the final hole. Remarkably, the 33-year-old played the entire final round without checking the leaderboard, only asking tournament director Marcus Hamberger his required score on the 18th tee. Told he needed a birdie to win, Mruzek duly delivered a two-metre putt, finishing with an overall score of -15, one stroke ahead of Austria's Bernard Neumayer and two clear of Germany's Linus Lang.

This marks Mruzek's second title of the year and his career, with his bogey-free opening round of 62 setting the foundation for his start-to-finish triumph. Despite Lang's impressive final round of 62, Mruzek's focus remained unwavering. He attributes his consistent performance to a conscious decision to ignore the leaderboard and concentrate solely on his own game.

The victory propels Mruzek to the top of the Pro Golf Tour's Order of Merit. He credits his current form to his experience and intensive mental preparation with UFC fighter Jiří Procházka, adopting a simple yet aggressive playing style. Mruzek praised the St. Pölten Golf Club and his enjoyment of the Austrian leg of the tour. Following the Lower Austria Swing, the Pro Golf Tour will now take a break before resuming with the Gradi Polish Open in July. Dutchman Lars van der Vight has been overtaken in the Order of Merit, with Clement Guichard of France now in third place.

Bryanston Country Club professional Ulrich Van Den Berg, 50, has dramatically ended a 10-year winless streak with a thrilling play-off victory at the season-opening Betway Big Easy Tour event at Dainfern Golf Estate. After both Van Den Berg and fellow Bryanston member, the young Jaden Deltel, finished on an impressive 11-under-par 205, a tense four-hole sudden-death play-off ensued. Despite feeling he should have won in regulation, Van Den Berg emerged triumphant in the veteran versus youth battle.

Showing his class, Van Den Berg expressed sympathy for Deltel, acknowledging the young player's bright future. However, the victory marks a significant moment for Van Den Berg, whose last professional win came at the European Q-School in 2015.
