DP World Tour - Austrian Alpine Open presented by SalzburgerLand
Nicolai von Dellingshausen has secured his maiden DP World Tour title, clinching a two-stroke victory at the 2025 Austrian Alpine Open presented by SalzburgerLand. The German's exceptional putting was a highlight of his final round, which saw him start one shot off the lead but quickly move clear with back-to-back birdies on the third and fourth holes.
Despite a bogey on the sixth, Von Dellingshausen rallied with four shots gained in three holes from the eighth, taking him to 19 under par. He faced late pressure from Kristoffer Reitan, who set a clubhouse target of 17 under with a bogey-free 60.

Japan Golf Tour - Gate Way To The Open Mizuno Open
Mikiya Akutsu claimed his maiden Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO) title on Sunday, mastering challenging, blustery conditions to win The Mizuno Open at JFE Setonaikai Golf Club. The 30-year-old Japanese golfer posted a final round of one-under-par 71 amidst gusts topping 40mph, finishing with a winning total of 13-under-par 275.
Akutsu's victory was particularly impressive given that only 16 players broke par during the final round. His triumph also earned him a coveted spot in The 153rd Open, set to be held at Royal Portrush next month, as one of the leading three players not already exempt.
An emotional Akutsu expressed his joy, stating, "Honestly, I’m just so happy. There are so many emotions I’m going through now. Besides this win, I’ve also earned a ticket to The Open. It feels surreal and overwhelming." He added that while winning once was a dream, he viewed it as "just the start" of his career.
Joining Akutsu at golf's oldest major will be Korea's Song Yong-Han (71) and Riki Kawamoto (73), who both finished in a tie for second place with a matching total of 279, four shots behind the champion.

Sunshine Tour - Gary & Vivienne Player Challenge
Malcolm Mitchell secured his second professional title on Friday, winning the Gary & Vivienne Player Challenge in a sudden-death playoff against fellow South African Jonathan Broomhead at Benoni Country Club.
Mitchell, who closed with a 71 to finish at 12 under par alongside Broomhead (69), sank a birdie putt on the par-five first playoff hole to clinch the prestigious trophy. The victory held extra significance for Mitchell, who only realized the full weight of his achievement – a tournament named in honour of golf legend Gary Player and his late wife Vivienne – after lifting the trophy.
An emotional Mitchell, whose fist pump after the winning putt spoke volumes, revealed that the win was a long time coming and held particular importance as he prepares for fatherhood. "I’ve got a baby on the way. Your life changes and your priorities change. I’m doing this for my family now," he shared.
This second Sunshine Tour victory, following his breakthrough in 2023, was particularly meaningful for Mitchell, who believes the second win often carries the most weight in a golfer's career.

Nordic Golf League - Smørum Open
Swedish golfer David Nyfjäll secured a decisive victory at the Smørum Open on Friday, finishing with an impressive total score of -17. Nyfjäll displayed remarkable consistency, going 39 holes without a single bogey, marking one of the most solid performances of the Ecco Tour season.
The final day saw a gripping Danish-Swedish duel amidst strong winds, with Denmark's Jeppe Kristian Andersen pushing Nyfjäll throughout. The two were tied after 15 holes, but Nyfjäll's composure shone through. After finding the rough on the 16th, he played a masterful shot to within a few centimeters, salvaging a crucial par.
The turning point came on the 17th when Andersen three-putted for a bogey. Further trouble on the 18th, where Andersen encountered a tree and recorded another bogey, allowed Nyfjäll to sink his birdie putt and claim the victory.
