DP World Tour - Amgen Irish Open
Rory McIlroy has won the 2025 Amgen Irish Open, defeating Sweden's Joakim Lagergren in a tense play-off at The K Club. In a dramatic final-hole finish, McIlroy sank a 28-foot eagle putt to match Lagergren's superb round of 66 and force the play-off.
The two golfers battled over three extra holes, trading close eagle attempts and birdies. McIlroy eventually secured the victory after Lagergren found the water on the third play-off hole, allowing the Northern Irishman to win with a two-putt birdie.
The victory marks another highlight in what McIlroy has described as one of the best years of his career, following his Masters triumph in April which completed his career Grand Slam. Looking ahead, McIlroy is now focused on the upcoming BMW PGA Championship and the Ryder Cup.

HotelPlanner Tour - GAC Rosa Challenge Tour
Hugo Townsend has secured his first victory on the HotelPlanner Tour, winning the GAC Rosa Challenge Tour by two shots. The Swede saw his five-shot overnight lead vanish on a dramatic final day at Rosa Golf Club, but a composed finish, including two birdies in his last five holes, saw him finish on 15 under par.
Townsend, the son of former Ryder Cup player Peter Townsend, expressed his shock and relief after a "stressful" day, where he found himself tied for the lead with fellow Swede Tobias Jonsson by the tenth hole. He credited his father's early guidance on the mental side of the game for his success.
The victory sees Townsend climb to a career-high tenth in the Road to Mallorca Rankings. The tour now heads to Portugal for the Open de Portugal.

Japan Golf Tour - LOPIA Fujisankei Classic
Taiga Nagano has secured his first win on the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO), holding his nerve to win the LOPIA Fujisankei Classic by a single shot.
The 22-year-old battled through a challenging start at Fujizakura Country Club, making back-to-back bogeys on the second and third holes after beginning the final round tied for the lead. However, Nagano composed himself and produced a brilliant finish with three birdies in his last six holes, including a crucial birdie on the 16th, to finish with a two-under-par 68. His winning total of 10-under-par 200 came in the 54-hole tournament, which was shortened after the second round was cancelled due to bad weather.
Yuta Sugiura finished in second place with a total of 201, while Taiga Semikawa finished a stroke behind in third. Nagano credited a shift in his mindset for the victory, stating, "I managed to reset myself and stay patient." He also joked with his caddie to help calm his nerves, a different approach from a previous tournament where he finished second after leading earlier.
