Michael Kim Claims First DP World Tour Title at Open de France

Michael Kim has claimed his first DP World Tour title, winning the FedEx Open de France and ending a seven-year wait for a worldwide professional victory. The win sees him rise to a career-high 39th in the Official World Golf Ranking.

DP World Tour - FedEx Open de France 

Michael Kim has claimed his first DP World Tour title, winning the FedEx Open de France and ending a seven-year wait for a worldwide professional victory.

The American secured the win at Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Bretèche, which was his 16th start on the DP World Tour. The triumph is his first since the 2018 John Deere Classic on the PGA Tour.

With the victory, Kim becomes only the second American to win the FedEx Open de France since it was added to the DP World Tour schedule in 1972. The win also sees him rise to a career-high 39th in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Asian Tour,PGA Tour of Taiwan-Chinese Taipei - Yeangder Tournament Players Championship    

Kazuki Higa of Japan has won the US$1 million Yeangder TPC, his second Asian Tour title in as many weeks. The victory moves him to the top of the Order of Merit.

Higa, the highest-ranked player in the field, shot a bogey-free four-under-par 68 in the final round at Linkou International Golf and Country Club to finish at 17-under, securing a two-shot win. He overtook overnight leader Charles Porter of America on the back nine, with a crucial birdie on the 15th hole while Porter bogeyed.

Porter finished in a three-way tie for second place at 15-under with Wang Wei-hsuan of Chinese-Taipei and Thailand’s Rattanon Wannasrichan. Indian golfers Ajeetesh Sandhu and Viraj Madappa were among those who finished in the top 10. The best-placed amateur was 17-year-old Hsieh Cheng-wei, who finished in a tie for seventh.

Japan Golf Tour - ANA Open Golf Tournament   

Takumi Kanaya has secured his eighth JGTO title, defeating Ryo Ishikawa on the second playoff hole at the ANA Open. The reigning JGTO money ranking champion, 27, started the final round two shots behind the leader. Despite an early bogey, Kanaya fought back with four straight birdies to stay in contention. He finished with a four-day total of 17-under-par 271, forcing a playoff with Ishikawa. On the second extra hole, Kanaya held his nerve to sink a winning par. He credited his composure to his caddie's encouragement, which helped him manage his emotions throughout the day.

HotelPlanner Tour - Italian Challenge Open        

South African golfer JC Ritchie has clinched automatic promotion to the DP World Tour after securing his third victory of the season at the Italian Challenge Open. Starting the day as co-leader, the 31-year-old stormed ahead with a phenomenal run of seven consecutive birdies on his opening holes. This incredible start gave him a commanding five-shot lead by the turn.

Despite a late triple bogey on the final hole, Ritchie’s strong performance throughout the tournament ensured he finished two shots clear of Sweden's Robin Petersson and Christofer Rahm. He ended the event with a total score of 20-under-par. The win, his seventh on the HotelPlanner Tour, moves Ritchie to the top of the Road to Mallorca Rankings. "It's a dream come true," said Ritchie, who was delighted to cap off a memorable year by achieving his goal of promotion.

Englishman Steven Brown tied for fourth place, three shots behind the winner. The HotelPlanner Tour will now take a two-week break before resuming in China.

Korn Ferry Tour - Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship

John VanDerLaan has won his first Korn Ferry Tour title at the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship. The 29-year-old American finished three strokes clear of Zecheng Dou and Trent Phillips, posting a total score of 17-under-par (267). This victory is the first of his career on the Korn Ferry Tour, coming in his 142nd start.

The win sees him climb to No. 15 on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, putting him firmly on track to earn a PGA TOUR card for the 2026 season.

PGA Tour Americas - Times Colonist Victoria Open presented by Andrew Sheret Limited              

Drew Nesbitt has outlasted fellow Canadian A.J. Ewart in a dramatic playoff to win the 2025 Times Colonist Victoria Open. The two players finished tied at 20-under 260 in regulation at Uplands Golf Club.

Nesbitt, 30, produced a remarkable comeback in windy conditions, firing a 5-under 65 to erase Ewart's four-shot lead from the start of the day. The victory was secured on the third extra hole when Nesbitt holed a 15-foot birdie putt.

Sunshine Tour - Sunbet Challenge hosted by Sun Sibaya

N Thangaraja of Sri Lanka has won the Chennai Open 2025 Powered by CPCL, securing a hard-fought victory at the Cosmo TNGF Golf Course. The 44-year-old golfer, who started the final day with a one-shot lead, managed to hold on with a one-over 73, finishing with a total of 17-under 271.
