PGA Tour - Travelers Championship

US Ryder Cup Captain Keegan Bradley delivered a dramatic victory at the Travelers Championship on Sunday, rallying from a three-shot deficit with just four holes remaining to secure a two-under 68. The win, sealed with a crucial birdie on the 18th hole in front of a fervent home crowd, significantly bolsters Bradley's case for a playing role in September's Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.

Bradley has ascended to ninth in the Ryder Cup standings and secures a career high of World No. 7. This marks his best ranking since 2013 Week 31, when he was 10th. Bradley overcame England's Tommy Fleetwood in a thrilling finish. Fleetwood, who secured Europe's clinching point at Marco Simone two years ago, saw his hopes of a first PGA TOUR title dashed after a bogey on the final hole.

The New England favourite's triumph, his second Travelers title in three years, was marked by incredible putting, including a 35-foot birdie on the 15th and the decisive six-footer on the 18th. For Fleetwood, 34, it was another frustrating near-miss on the PGA TOUR, despite a distinguished international record.

Big Easy Tour - BETWAY Big Easy Tour 4

Just days after their nations clashed in the World Test Championship, sporting rivalry was once again on display, this time on the golf course at Benoni Country Club. Australia's Austin Bautista emerged victorious in a thrilling individual battle, claiming a two-shot win over South African Jacquin Hess at the Betway Big Easy Tour event.

Nordic Golf League - Søllerød Championship

Benjamin Poke has claimed a dramatic victory at the Søllerød Championship, securing his first win since the 2019 Q-School. A fantastic final round of 7-under par (64) saw Poke force a five-hole play-off against Sweden's Jesper Asp and fellow Dane Victor Bjørløw.

The final round was played under clear skies and less wind, providing perfect conditions that many players capitalised on. Poke surged from the start, birdying four of his first five holes. He then added an eagle on the 15th and a birdie on the 16th to finish at 8-under par, setting the clubhouse target.

The drama unfolded as Asp and Bjørløw joined Poke at the top, with Bjørløw securing his spot in the play-off with a superb birdie on the 18th. The extended play-off tested all three players, with Bjørløw eventually dropping out after the second extra hole. Poke and Asp then battled it out, with Asp narrowly missing a crucial birdie putt on the fourth play-off hole after a stunning approach shot.

Ultimately, it was Poke who emerged triumphant, securing victory with a confident birdie on the fifth play-off hole (the 1st hole). A delighted Poke commented, "I am extremely happy with the victory. And I am really proud of how I handled the mental game from start to finish." This win propels Poke to 27th place on the 'Road to Europe' rankings.
