Marco Penge has secured his first DP World Tour victory, triumphing at the 2025 Hainan Classic by three shots. The Englishman carded a final round of 67 to finish the tournament at 17 under par.
Penge began the final day sharing the lead with local favourite Bowen Xiao but found himself trailing Sean Crocker early on the back nine. However, he responded emphatically with a hat-trick of birdies on the 12th, 13th, and 14th holes, propelling him clear of the field. His final round included a total of seven birdies and two bogeys.
American Sean Crocker and Norway's Kristoffer Reitan finished in a tie for second place at 14 under par, with Denmark's Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen a further shot back.

He acknowledged the support of his caddie, wife, and team, highlighting their importance during his journey.

PGA Tour Americas - KIA Open
Jay Card III battled through a challenging final round at Quito Tenis y Golf Club to clinch his first professional title at the KIA Open. The American golfer carded a 1-under 71 on Sunday, finishing one stroke ahead of the competition.
Card had surged to the top of the leaderboard with an impressive 9-under 63 in the second round. However, Sunday saw a tougher start with a 2-over 38 on the front nine, briefly relinquishing his lead. Showing resilience, Card rallied on the back nine with a bogey-free 3-under 33 to regain the top spot and secure the victory. This makes him the third first-time winner on the PGA TOUR Americas circuit in 2025.
His triumph comes after a demanding Saturday where he completed both his first and second rounds. Card initially gained his PGA TOUR Americas status through the Mid-Season Qualifying School in 2024 and narrowly retained it for the 2025 Latin America Swing, finishing in the final qualifying position.
Reflecting on his journey, Card spoke of the challenges he has faced since turning professional in 2018. He recounted his experience of not being heavily recruited for college golf and the numerous times he was told he wouldn't succeed. He also highlighted his time working at various golf courses in Florida and caddying to support his aspirations. Card had previously gained and lost status on the Korn Ferry Tour and faced injury setbacks.
This victory provides Card with full exemption on PGA TOUR Americas through the 2026 Latin America Swing. He has also made a significant leap in the Fortinet Cup points list, moving to second place from his previous position of tied 20th. Card is now expected to compete in the Diners Club Peru Open in Lima next week.
