PGA Tour - Sony Open in Hawaii
Chris Gotterup secured his third PGA Tour title in as many seasons after producing a commanding final-round display to win the Sony Open in Hawaii by two strokes. Playing at the picturesque Waialae Country Club, the American carded a six-under-par 64 to finish on 16-under for the tournament, capitalising on a mid-round collapse from the 54-hole leader, Davis Riley. Gotterup’s victory was underpinned by a formidable performance on the greens, highlighted by lengthy birdie putts at the 12th and 13th, before he effectively sealed the win with a brilliant tee shot on the par-three 17th. Whilst Ryan Gerard claimed second place to earn his maiden Masters invitation, there was also a notable performance from Scotland’s Robert MacIntyre, who surged up the leaderboard with a superb final-day 63 to finish in a tie for fourth place.

DP World Tour - Dubai Invitational
Spain’s Nacho Elvira secured a dramatic victory at the 2026 Dubai Invitational, claiming his third DP World Tour title after a gripping final round at Dubai Creek Resort. Despite establishing a comfortable three-shot lead early in the day, the 38-year-old faced a stern test during a chaotic Sunday afternoon that saw five different players share the lead. As heavyweights such as Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry applied pressure, Elvira’s lead evaporated following successive bogeys, but he regained his composure just as his rivals faltered. While Lowry’s challenge ended spectacularly with a double bogey at the last, Elvira carded a crucial birdie on the 17th to move one stroke clear of clubhouse leader Daniel Hillier. Showing nerves of steel, the Spaniard safely holed out for par on the 18th to finish at ten under par and seal an emotional win with his family watching on. Hillier finished as the solo runner-up, while McIlroy and Lowry were forced to settle for a share of third place alongside Julien Guerrier and David Puig.

Korn Ferry Tour - The Bahamas Golf Classic at Atlantis Paradise Island
Taylor Dickson secured his third Korn Ferry Tour title in emphatic style at The Bahamas Golf Classic at Atlantis Paradise Island, carding a bogey-free seven-under-par 65 to seal a three-shot victory. Finishing the week at 27-under-par, the American set a new 72-hole scoring record for the tournament and made history as only the second player in the tour's existence to win an event without recording a single bogey across the four rounds. In what was his 100th appearance on the tour, Dickson comfortably held off a challenge from Canada’s Roger Sloan, who finished as runner-up on 24-under, whilst Jeff Overton produced his best-ever performance on the circuit to share third place with Trent Phillips and Mason Andersen on 23-under-par.

PGA Tour of Australasia - Vic Open
Cameron John achieved a long-held childhood ambition on Sunday by securing a dramatic come-from-behind victory at the 2026 Vic Open, staged at the 13th Beach Golf Links. The 26-year-old Victorian overturned a five-shot overnight deficit to force a playoff against long-time leader Nathan Barbieri, eventually clinching the title with a composed par on the first extra hole after Barbieri faltered with a bogey. For John, who first attended the tournament as a six-year-old, the win marks his third professional title and his second of the 2025/26 season, propelling him to second place on the Order of Merit. While he expressed sympathy for his close friend Barbieri, whose dream of a maiden Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia title was dashed by a late-round struggle, John described ticking the event off his "bucket list" as an incredible milestone in his career. Meanwhile, in the women's draw, Lydia Hall produced a stellar performance to claim her fourth Australian victory, finishing ahead of Kelsey Bennett and Kathryn Norris to lift the trophy alongside the men's champion.

Big Easy Tour - SunDev Absa Invitational Series - Thika Greens
Ugandan professional golfer Willy Deus Kitata has secured his maiden Big Easy Tour - Sunshine Development Tour title after clinching a hard-fought victory at the Thika Greens Golf Resort in Kenya on Friday, 16th January 2026. Despite a challenging final round played in testing wind conditions, Kitata held his nerve to claim the top prize of KSh 400,000 (approximately 11 million Ugandan Shillings) and solidify his standing on the regional circuit. This significant win not only marks his first professional triumph on Kenyan soil but also serves as a crucial milestone in his pursuit of qualification for the prestigious 2026 Magical Kenya Open on the DP World Tour.
