PGA Tour - WM Phoenix Open

Chris Gotterup secured his second victory of the season in dramatic fashion at the WM Phoenix Open, overcoming Hideki Matsuyama on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff at TPC Scottsdale. The 26-year-old American staged a late charge during the final round, carding a seven-under-par 64 that included five birdies in his final six holes to finish the tournament at 16-under. Matsuyama, who had held the 54-hole lead, struggled with his accuracy off the tee throughout the day and eventually handed the advantage to Gotterup after pulling his drive into the water during the playoff. Gotterup capitalised on the error, holing a brilliant 27-foot birdie putt to claim his fourth career PGA Tour title. Elsewhere, world number one Scottie Scheffler finished in a tie for third at 15-under-par, falling just one shot short of the playoff after a superb closing round of 64.

DP World Tour - Qatar Masters

Patrick Reed secured his second DP World Tour title in just three weeks after clinching a hard-fought two-stroke victory at the 2026 Qatar Masters. Despite starting the final day at Doha Golf Club with a two-shot cushion, the American faced a stern challenge from the chasing pack, briefly losing his lead on the front nine before steadying himself with crucial birdies at the tenth and 11th holes. Reed finished with an impressive total of 16 under par, successfully fending off a spirited late charge from Scotland’s Calum Hill, who ultimately finished as runner-up on 14 under for the second consecutive week. Jacob Skov Olesen and Johannes Veerman shared third place, while Irish legend Padraig Harrington marked the milestone of his 500th tour appearance with a commendable five-under-par finish. Reflecting on a period of exceptional form that has yielded two wins and a play-off defeat this season, Reed admitted the final round was a stressful affair but praised his own resilience in navigating the back nine to secure his fifth career victory on the tour.

Asian Tour - Philippine Golf Championship presented by Philippine Sports Commission

South Korean golfer Wooyoung Cho secured his maiden victory on the Asian Tour with an impressive performance at the Philippine Golf Championship, held at Manila’s challenging Wack Wack Golf & Country Club. The 24-year-old, a former Asian Games gold medallist, overcame a two-shot overnight deficit by carding a superb five-under-par 67 on the final day, finishing the season opener with a four-round total of 11-under. Despite intense pressure from Thailand’s Pavit Tangkamolprasert, who eventually finished four strokes adrift in second place, Cho displayed immense composure by producing vital par saves on the back nine, most notably at the 11th, 12th, and 17th holes. This breakthrough win earned the young professional a combined prize of $100,000, including a bonus for the lowest round of the day, and further cements his reputation as a rising star following his transition from a highly successful amateur career. Behind the leaders, Australia’s Travis Smyth claimed third place, while India’s Karandeep Kochhar finished in fourth after a difficult final round.

HotelPlanner Tour & Sunshine Tour - CIRCA Cape Town Open

Englishman Will Enefer clinched a dramatic maiden HotelPlanner Tour title after prevailing in a play-off at the CIRCA Cape Town Open at Royal Cape Golf Club. Despite starting the final round five shots off the pace and battling testing, windy conditions, the 28-year-old carded a resolute three-under-par 69 to finish level with local favourite Hennie Otto. Enefer’s victory was sparked by a blistering run of five birdies in six holes around the turn, and he eventually sealed the breakthrough win by holing a clinical eight-foot birdie putt on the first extra hole. This triumph sees him climb to second in the season-long Road to Mallorca Rankings, significantly boosting his campaign to return to the DP World Tour, while Spaniard Santiago Tarrio finished a shot further back in third.

In only his seventh start since joining the paid ranks last November, the 22-year-old local golfer overcame an early double bogey to card a final-round 67, eventually storming to an emphatic five-stroke victory. MENA Golf Tour - Egypt Golf Series Madinaty Golf Club

Spain’s Juan Salama secured his maiden international title in impressive fashion with a wire-to-wire victory at the Madinaty Golf Club, finishing three strokes clear of the field to conclude the MENA Golf Tour’s Egypt swing on a high. Having set a blistering pace with a course-record opening round of 60, Salama showed immense composure throughout the week to finish on a total of 17-under-par. Despite the pressure of a late bogey on the 15th during the final round, he quickly recovered with a crucial birdie on the 17th to pull away from his nearest challengers. The Spaniard’s triumph was particularly sweet as it came just a week after a narrow play-off defeat, this time relegating last week's winner, Welshman Jack Davidson, and Englishman Owen Edwards to a share of second place on 14-under-par. Reflecting on his victory, Salama noted the mental toll of the final day but expressed his delight at achieving a long-held dream as the tour now prepares to head to Morocco.
