DP World Tour& PGA Tour - Genesis Scottish Open

American Chris Gotterup, 25, secured his maiden DP World Tour title today at the Genesis Scottish Open, fending off a strong challenge from World Number Two Rory McIlroy to win by two shots at the Renaissance Club.

Sharing the lead with McIlroy at the start of the final round, Gotterup displayed impressive composure. Despite an early bogey that handed McIlroy the sole lead, Gotterup quickly recovered with a birdie at the third, setting the tone for a gripping contest.

The decisive stretch came on the back nine. While McIlroy endured a run of ten straight pars after a birdie at the eighth, Gotterup capitalised with birdies at the eighth, tenth, and twelfth holes to establish a two-shot lead. A bogey at the 15th briefly narrowed the gap, but the American responded immediately with another birdie at the 16th, re-establishing his two-shot cushion. He then calmly parred his way home, signing for a final round of 66.

"I just hung in there tight and tried to keep it together," a jubilant Gotterup said after his win. "I played really well this week, and I knew today was going to be tough. I hung in there like a champ and finished it off in style."

McIlroy finished with a 68, sharing second place with England's Marco Penge, who delivered a strong closing 66. Gotterup's victory also secures him a coveted spot at next week's Open Championship at Royal Portrush.

Korn Ferry Tour - The Ascendant presented by Blue

American golfer Neal Shipley, 24, claimed his second Korn Ferry Tour victory of the season yesterday at The Ascendant, held at TPC Colorado. Shipley triumphed by a single stroke, finishing at 18-under par, ahead of Jorge Fernández Valdés and Kevin Dougherty.

Remarkably, Shipley began the final round a full seven strokes behind overnight leader Ross Steelman, making his comeback the largest final-round victory in regulation on the Korn Ferry Tour since 2020. His winning 8-under 64, which included an eagle and eight birdies, was tied for the low round of the day.

This win sees Shipley rise to No. 4 on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Points List. Should he secure a third victory this season, he will earn an immediate promotion to the PGA TOUR, a rare feat known as the "Three-Victory Promotion".

Shipley, who only turned professional in 2024, has rapidly made a name for himself. He was the runner-up at the 2023 U.S. Amateur Championship and earned low amateur honours at both the 2024 Masters Tournament and the 2024 U.S. Open, becoming the first player since Viktor Hovland (2019) to achieve this distinction in the same year.

DP World Tour & PGA Tour - ISCO Championship

William Mouw secured his maiden PGA TOUR title at the ISCO Championship on Sunday, carding a stunning nine-under 61 to finish with a total of 10-under 270. The 24-year-old’s dramatic victory came after a nervous two-hour wait, as overnight leader Paul Peterson narrowly missed a 55-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole, finishing a single shot behind.

Mouw, in just his 20th PGA TOUR start, surged through the field with birdies on the first three holes and a dominant back nine, recording his lowest career score. Peterson, 37, also in his 20th start, fought valiantly with late birdies but ultimately fell short.

The win grants Mouw a two-year exemption on the PGA TOUR and a spot in next year's PGA Championship. Manuel Elvira finished third at seven-under, while Vince Whaley and David Skinns tied for fourth.

HotelPlanner Tour - D+D REAL Czech Challenge

Scottish golfer David Law has claimed his first professional title in over six years, winning the D+D REAL Czech Challenge by two strokes. Law, 34, carded a superb seven-under-par 63 in the final round at Royal Beroun Golf Club, finishing on 22 under par for the tournament.

Despite a challenging start to the week with a one-over-par opening round, Law produced back-to-back 62s on the weekend before his impressive final-day performance. He began the last round two shots off the lead but quickly made his intentions clear with an eagle on the second hole, followed by five birdies.

This victory, Law's second on the HotelPlanner Tour (formerly Challenge Tour), propels him six places up to third in the Road to Mallorca Rankings. Having lost his DP World Tour playing privileges last season, Law expressed his determination to regain his card, stating, "This win has given me huge confidence."

Ryan Lumsden (Scotland), Victor Sidal Svendsen (Denmark), Maximilian Steinlechner (Austria), and Jack Floydd (England) finished in a four-way tie for second, two shots behind Law.

PGA Tour Americas - Bromont Open presented by Desjardins

Dillon Stewart secured his first career PGA TOUR Americas victory today at the Bromont Open presented by Desjardins, concluding a rain-delayed final round at Golf Château-Bromont. The 24-year-old American, in only his second PGA TOUR-sanctioned start, sealed the win with a par on the 18th hole to finish 3-under 67 for the day, securing his maiden professional title.

Stewart, who earned his tour card through PGA TOUR Americas Q-School in June, had held a share of the lead for the previous two rounds following impressive back-to-back 7-under 63s. This win sees him jump 64 places to ninth in the Fortinet Cup standings and earns him exempt status on PGA TOUR Americas through the 2026 Latin America Swing. The Oklahoma State alumnus is expected to compete in the upcoming Commissionaires Ottawa Open.

The tournament made history as the first PGA TOUR Americas event to conclude on a Monday, following Sunday's suspension due to adverse weather.

Alps Tour Golf - Alps de Las Castillas

Spain's Antonio Hortal has secured his first victory in two years, winning the 2025 Alps de Las Castillas with an impressive 16-under-par total. Hortal, 36, triumphed by a single stroke after a captivating final round at Club de Golf Las Pinaillas.

Starting the day in second place, Hortal delivered a 5-under-par 67, including four birdies in his opening five holes. Despite a brief wobble with back-to-back bogeys on the 12th and 13th, he rallied with three crucial birdies on the final three holes to clinch the title.

"It was a very solid day, my putting was really good, and I kept the same strong long game from tee to green I’ve had the whole week," said Hortal, who praised his consistent play and effective driving.
