PGA Tour - THE PLAYERS Championship

Cameron Young has secured a thrilling victory at THE PLAYERS Championship, claiming only his second PGA TOUR title in spectacular fashion at TPC Sawgrass. Showcasing brilliant composure under pressure, the 28-year-old American rallied on the back nine, culminating in the shot of his career: a sensational tee shot to within 10 feet for a crucial birdie on the infamous wind-swept 17th Island Green. This decisive move allowed him to catch England's Matt Fitzpatrick, who ultimately missed an 8-foot par putt on the 18th hole to fall one stroke shy of forcing a play-off. Young finished with a bogey-free back nine and a spectacular 375-yard drive on the final hole, closing with a 4-under 68 to reach 13-under overall. The dramatic final day also saw Sweden's Ludvig Åberg, who held a three-shot lead entering the round, plummet down the leaderboard after finding the water on consecutive holes, whilst Xander Schauffele secured third place. Young's triumph, at what is widely regarded as golf's fifth major, earns him a handsome $4.5 million prize and elevates him to world number four.

LIV Golf League - LIV Golf Singapore

Bryson DeChambeau has secured his fourth career LIV Golf individual title following a dramatic playoff victory over Richard T. Lee at the Aramco LIV Golf Singapore event. After both players finished regulation play tied at 14-under par amidst challenging rainy conditions at the Sentosa Golf Club, the playoff on the 18th hole saw DeChambeau hit his initial tee shot into a water hazard. However, he managed a brilliant up-and-down to save par, whilst Lee, who had laid up from a fairway bunker and reached the green in three, surprisingly missed a short two-foot putt to extend the contest. Meanwhile, in the team competition, Dustin Johnson's 4Aces GC claimed their second consecutive tournament victory, finishing at 27-under par to secure a five-shot triumph over Ripper GC, with standout bogey-free rounds from Thomas Pieters and Anthony Kim bolstering their final-day surge.

Sunshine Tour - The Courier Guy Playoffs: The Serengeti Playoffs

Daniel van Tonder has secured a magnificent two-stroke victory at The Serengeti Playoffs, the opening tournament of The Courier Guy Playoffs series, after delivering a scintillating final-round 63 at Serengeti Estates. Navigating cool, wet, and windy conditions on Sunday, the golfer produced a spectacular closing stretch, firing an eagle on the 17th hole nestled between birdies to finish on an impressive 21 under par. Wilco Nienaber and Allen John shared the runner-up spot, finishing two shots adrift at 19 under par. The triumph, which also saw his caddie Stef Visagie awarded the winning caddie medal, fulfils a long-standing ambition for van Tonder to lift the trophy and catapults him to fourth place on The Courier Guy Order of Merit ahead of the season-ending DNi Tour Championship at De Zalze Golf Club.

PGA Tour of Australasia - Heritage Classic

Australian golfer Will Florimo has claimed his maiden Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia title after securing a hard-fought, two-shot victory at the Heritage Classic in Melbourne. Starting the final round two strokes adrift of American Chris Malec, Florimo produced a brilliant three-under-par 69, highlighted by a spectacular eagle on the fourth hole, to finish the tournament on 14-under-par. Despite closing with consecutive bogeys, the 26-year-old Queenslander had built enough of an advantage to hold off a late charge from runner-up Haydn Barron. The triumph was particularly sweet for Florimo, who had suffered three near misses earlier in the season, including a heartbreaking play-off defeat at the Ford NSW Open. To celebrate his long-awaited breakthrough, Florimo savoured his first sip of beer in more than two years, having remarkably sworn off alcohol upon joining the tour in 2023 until he finally secured his first professional victory.

China Tour - Guangdong Open

Zihao Jin secured a dominant victory at the 2026 China Tour season opener, finishing with an impressive 11-under par total to claim a four-shot margin over his nearest rival. The final round began as a tense showdown, with Bo Peng trailing by just a single stroke; however, Jin’s clinical performance under pressure proved to be the difference. While Peng struggled to find scoring opportunities and settled for a level-par 70 to finish at -7, Jin pulled away with a superb 3-under 67. This final-round surge not only extinguished any hopes of a comeback but also solidified Jin's position at the top of the early-season standings, marking him as the man to beat as the tour progresses.
