PGA Tour - Charles Schwab Challenge

Ben Griffin has secured his first individual PGA TOUR victory at the Charles Schwab Challenge, fending off a persistent challenge from Matti Schmid in a tense final round. Griffin, who had previously won a team event last month, shot a 1-over 71 to finish at 12-under 268, just one stroke ahead of Schmid.

The final day at "Hogan's Alley" was marked by warm temperatures and strong wind gusts of around 30 mph, making conditions tricky for both players. Despite Griffin opening with an eagle and a birdie to establish a five-shot lead after five holes, Schmid remained a threat throughout.

The climax came on the 72nd hole, where Schmid incredibly chipped in for birdie from deep rough behind the green, forcing Griffin to make a four-foot par putt to clinch the title. Griffin, faced with a challenging lie from the rough himself, managed to save par, securing his victory.             This victory moves ben into his best position held in the Official World Golf Ranking now ranked inside the Top 25 for the first time in his career.

DP World Tour - Soudal Open

Kristoffer Reitan has claimed his first DP World Tour title at the Soudal Open, overcoming a nine-shot deficit with a spectacular course-record 62 before triumphing in a tense play-off. Starting the final day well before the leaders, Reitan's remarkable round at Rinkven International GC, featuring nine birdies, propelled him to 13-under-par. This clubhouse target was enough to force a play-off against Scotland's Ewen Ferguson and Dutchman Darius van Driel, both of whom finished level.

After all three made par on the first extra trip up the 18th, Reitan held his nerve on the second play-off hole, sinking a 15-foot birdie putt after his rivals had missed. The Norwegian's victory is a significant turnaround for a player who admitted he considered quitting golf just a few years ago. "It's been a dream of mine since I was a little kid," a thrilled Reitan said, adding, "To be able to turn it around the way I have been doing the last couple of years has been amazing - to seal it with victory here is ridiculous."

The dramatic conclusion saw Ferguson, who had led for much of the day, bogey his final regulation hole to drop into the play-off. Van Driel's impressive finish, including a hat-trick of birdies, also earned him a spot in the decider.

Asian Tour & KPGA Tour - Kolon The 67th Korea Open

Thailand's Sadom Kaewkanjana secured a significant victory today at the Kolon Korea Open, triumphing on the challenging Dunes Course at La Vie Est Belle golf club. This win marks his first on the Asian Tour in three years, and a hard-fought battle against his compatriot Poom Saksansin.

Kaewkanjana, 28, closed with a resilient one-under-par 70, finishing the tournament on seven-under to beat Saksansin by two shots. The victory also secures his spot in The Open at Royal Portrush this July, as the Kolon Korea Open is part of the Open Qualifying Series. He now sits atop the Asian Tour Order of Merit.

A crucial dropped shot by Saksansin on the 14th handed Kaewkanjana the initiative, leading to a two-shot cushion with three holes to play, which he held with composure.
