European Tour - BMW Masters

Gonzalo Fernandez-Castaño produced a stunning final round to win the first Final Series event on The Race to Dubai at the BMW Masters presented by SRE Group.

The Spaniard survived a late wobble at the last he found two bunkers en route to a double bogey six, but 17 holes of flawless ball striking had given him sufficient room to claim a seventh European Tour title with a closing 68 and 11 under par total at Lake Malaren. Gonzalo gained 50 1st place points taking him from 60 to 32nd in the World Ranking.

Asian and PGA Tour - CIMB Classic

American Ryan Moore defeated countryman Gary Woodland with a magical birdie on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff to win the CIMB Classic on Monday.

The 30-year-old Moore hit an exquisite eight iron approach shot to within three feet of the par five 18th hole at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club’s West course to claim his third PGA TOUR title sanctioned with the Asian Tour.

Japan Golf Tour - Bridgestone Open

Daisuke Maruyama pulled away from the pack and took the Bridgestone Open on Sunday in his home prefecture of Chiba.

Maruyama, who began the final day in a three-way tie for first, sank seven birdies against four bogies at Sodegaura Country Club for a 203 total that lifted the 42-year-old to his first victory on the Tour since 2009. 
Maruyama bagged 16 1st place points to move up the ranking to 354th in the ranking.

Challenge Tour - National Bank of Oman

Rooke Kakko sealed his card for The 2014 European Tour season as the Finn claimed his first title as a professional with a nerveless performance and a two-shot win in the inaugural National Bank of Oman Golf Classic.

In searing hot conditions at the majestic Almouj Golf, The Wave in the Omani capital of Muscat, the 31 year old produced a final round worthy of the occasion in the penultimate event of the European Challenge Tour season. Kakko is now ranked 211th in the World Ranking.
