American Ryan Moore won his first PGA Tour title at Greensboro's Wyndham Championship after a three-way play-off with Kevin Stadler and Jason Bohn. Moore, a former US amateur champion, birdied the third extra hole to see off Stadler after Bohn was eliminated on the first. The trio finished 16 under for the tournament, one ahead of Spain Sergio Garcia, whose bunker shot for birdie on the 18th stayed agonisingly half an inch short. Moore moves to World Number 73 a jump of 48 positions.

Simon Dyson triumphed in a three way play off at the KLM Open after a stunning final round 63 saw him make up six strokes on Sunday. Dyson holed an 18 foot birdie putt on the first extra hole of the playoff to claim victory, his first since the same tournament in 2006 where he won in similar style against Australian Richard Green. The win sees the Englishman rise to 100 on the ranking after a rise of 46 places.

Michael Sim claimed his third win of the 2009 Nationwide Tour season and in doing so earnt his 2010 PGA Tour card. The young Australian has waited three months for his third victory of the year and he won the Christmas in October Classic with a flawless weekends golf that saw him win by two. With this win Sim has risen 19 places in the ranking to 57 with an average points total of 2.099.

Hiroyuki Fujita shot a final round 68 on Sunday to claim a two shot victory at the Kansai Open Golf Championship. Three front nine birdies put Fujita in pole position to take victory and with no challengers emerging a level par back nine saw him take victory. He now climbs 23 places on the ranking to 59.

Stuart Anderson shot a fantastic final round at the Desjardins Montreal Open to win his third Canadian Tour title. Anderson trailed by three going into the final round but a 63 saw him claim a comprehensive four stroke victory. The win propels the Canadian 196 places up the ranking to 520.
