Angel Cabrera won the 2009 Masters Tournament, his second Major Championship victory, in a sudden death play-off with Kenny Perry and Chad Campbell, after the trio had tied on 12-under-par totals of 276. Campbell went out when he missed a par putt of around four feet on the first hole of the sudden-death play-off. Cabrera made a seven-footer to take the play-off to a second hole where he triumphed with a par 4 after Perry missed the green and failed to get up and down. Cabrera moves up 51 spots to World Number 18, Perry up 5 spots to 6th and Campbell into the World Top 50 with a 35 spot jump to 41st.
