Woods, who began the final round with a four-stroke lead over playing partner Brett Witterich, secured a two stroke victory with a final round of 73. Witterich’s second place finish moves him to World Number 21.

Tiger Woods, the World Number One, won the World Golf Championships – CA Championship over Doral’s Blue Monster Course, Miami, Florida. Woods, who began the final round with a four-stroke lead over playing partner Brett Witterich, secured a two stroke victory with a final round of 73. Witterich’s second place finish moves him to World Number 21.

Daniel Vancsik completed an emphatic maiden European Tour victory at the Madeira Islands Open BPI recording the largest winning margin of the 2007 season, seven strokes. The Argentinean climbs 402 places to World Number 284th.

This week’s other winners were Americans Skip Kendal at the Chitimacha Louisiana Open on the Nationwide Tour and Jason Knutzon at the Motorola International Bintan on the Asian Tour.

The players, not otherwise qualified, who have secured their invitations to the 2007 Masters Tournament through being in the Top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking of Week 12 - 2007 areJustin Rose, Paul Goydos and Bart Bryant.
