Olin Browne broke out of a five way tie for the lead at the start of the day with a final round of 67 to win the Deutsche Bank Championship on the PGA Tour at the Tournament Players Club of Boston by a stroke from Jason Bohn. The win takes Browne up 138 places to World Number 103.

World Number six Sergio Garcia won the Omega European Masters on the European Tour at Crans-sur-Sierre, a final round of 68, including a chip-in on the par 3 16th hole, gave the Spaniard the win over Swede Peter Gustafsson whose closing round of 64 was the best round of the day.
The World Number five was also victorious this week as Retief Goosen won the Volkswagen Masters-China on the Asian Tour at the Jinghua Golf Club. Goosen won by six strokes from US Open Champion Michael Campbell.
Daisuke Maruyama won the Fujisankei Classic on the Japan Golf Tour, the win taking him to World Number 201.
This week’s other winners were Peter Tomasulo at the Alberta Classic on the Nationwide Tour and Michael Hoey at the BA CA Golf Open presented by Telekom Austria on the European Chalenge Tour.
