Goosen remains World Number 5 but he has narrowed the gap to Phil Mickelson at Number 4 going into the PGA Championship at Baltusrol this week.

Italy's Emanuele Canonica picked up his first European Tour title in 14 years when he won the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles by two strokes over 4 players at the PGA Centenary Course. Emanuele breaks into the World Top 200 in 197th place, an improvement of 156 places.
On the Japan Golf Tour Keiichiro Fukabori was victorious at the Sun Chlorella Classic played at Otaru Country Club in Hokkaido. He moves up to World Number 128, a jump of 44 places.
Nationwide Tour player Jason Gore had plenty of reasons to celebrate this week. His third straight win earned him an immediate promotion to the PGA Tour plus his victory at the Cox Classic presented by Chevrolet included a second round of 59. Gore is now World Number 315.
Peter Tomasulo won the Montreal Open presented by Lexus in his rookie season on the Canadian Tour and is now World Number 364.
