Vijay Singh picked up his eighth PGA Tour win of the season at the 84 Lumber Classic at the Mystic Rock course in Pennsylvania. This was the Fijian’s fifth victory in his last six tournaments and his lead over Tiger Woods at the top of the Official World Golf Ranking is now a clear 2 points.

Henrik Stenson claimed his second victory on The European Tour at the The Heritage at Woburn Golf and Country Club. Four birdies in his final five holes sealed a four stroke win for the Swede from Spain’s Carlos Rodiles.

This week’s other winners were Marc Cayeux in the Open de Toulouse on the European Challenge Tour, Scott Gump at the Albertson's Boise Open on the Nationwide Tour and Charlie Wiwho won the Asian Tour’s Taiwan Open.
