Goosen overtakes Phil Mickelson in this week’s Official World Golf Ranking to become World Number 4 while Tiger Woods, who finished in second place, moves past Ernie Els into the World Number 2 spot.

Goosen overtakes Phil Mickelson in this week’s Official World Golf Ranking to become World Number 4 while Tiger Woods, who finished in second place, moves past Ernie Els into the World Number 2 spot.

Yang Yong-Eun won the Asahi-Ryokuken Yomiuri Aso-Iizuka Memorial Open at the Aso-Iizuka Golf Club on the Japan Golf Tour. Yang is now the third highest ranked Korean having climbed 36 places to World Number 112.

Filipino Angelo Que produced a stunning victory over Thai star Thongchai Jaidee and US visitor Corey Pavin to lift the inaugural Carlsberg Masters 2004 Vietnam at Chi Linh Star Golf and Country Club on the Asian Tour. Previously un-ranked, Que has now moved to 567= in the latest Official World Golf Ranking.
