Adam Scott won the Booz Allen Classic on the PGA Tour by four strokes from Charles Howell III. Scott, the 2004 Players Championship winner, jumps 2 spots in the World Ranking to number 13 while Howell III is now World Number 32 – a rise of 3 places.

Adam Scott won the Booz Allen Classic on the PGA Tour by four strokes from Charles Howell III. Scott, the 2004 Players Championship winner, jumps 2 spots in the World Ranking to number 13 while Howell III is now World Number 32 – a rise of 3 places.

Jean Francois Remesy of France won his national title, the Open de France, in great style with a seven shot victory over Australian left-handers Nick O’Hern and Richard Green. Remesy breaks into the World Top 100, a jump of 62 places to number 99.

Brendan Jones of won for a second time in three weeks as he beat Hiroaki Iijima in a playoff for the Mizuno Open on the Japan Golf Tour. He is now World Number 67.

This week’s other winners were Kevin Stadler at the Lake Erie Charity Classic on the Nationwide Tour, Garry Houston at the Galeria Kaufhof Pokal Challenge on the European Challenge Tour and David Hearn at the Times Colonist Open on the Canadian Tour.
