Week 14 - Ben Crane Wins The BellSouth Classic And Moves Into The Top-100 At No.75
On the US PGA Tour this week, Ben Crane shot a final-round 63 to win the BellSouth Classic at the TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth, Georgia. Crane’s final hole eagle ensured a 4-shot victory over Stewart Cink and he becomes the first first-time winner on the PGA Tour so far this year. Crane improves 72 positions in this week’s Official World Ranking and is now World No.75. Runner-up Bob Tway improves 23 spots as he breaks into the World Top-50 at No.47 while the South-Africa Retief Goosen improves 2 positions and makes a return to the Top-5. Hank Kuehne’s T3 is his best career finish on the PGA Tour and he progresses to World No.175.
