PGA Tour of Australasia - Webex Players Series Perth hosted by Minjee and Min Woo Lee

Connor McKinney claimed a dominant wire-to-wire victory at the Webex Players Series Perth, securing his maiden professional title on home soil with a commanding four-stroke margin. Competing at the Royal Fremantle Golf Club, the home course of tournament hosts Minjee and Min Woo Lee. The Scottish-born Australian produced a masterclass in front of local fans. McKinney effectively neutralised any final-round pressure early on, holing a spectacular 40-foot eagle putt on the second hole to extend his lead. Despite a few late blemishes on the back nine as the blustery conditions took their toll, his lead remained unassailable, with high-profile challengers such as Andrew 'Beef' Johnston and local favourite Curtis Luck unable to close the gap. With his brother Archie on the bag and coach David Milne watching on, the 23-year-old’s triumph marks a significant milestone as he prepares to embark on his debut season on the DP World Tour, beginning with his upcoming appearance in Bahrain.
