PGA Tour - RBC Canadian Open

Jhonattan Vegas birdied his way off Glen Abbey and waited to see if anyone could catch him. No one could.

Vegas rallied to win the RBC Canadian Open on Sunday for his second PGA TOUR title, birdieing the final three holes for an 8-under 64 and one-stroke victory.

The 29-year-old Venezuelan Olympic player began the day five strokes behind leader Brandt Snedeker and four behind U.S. Open champion Dustin Johnson and Canadian amateur Jared du Toit. Last week in Alabama in the event opposite The Open Championship, Vegas shot a course-record 61 in the second round and tied for fourth.

"That's the fortunate breaks that sometimes you need to be a champion on the PGA TOUR," Vegas said. "It's a great feeling. I mean, last week, I had a six-shot lead going into the weekend and lost by three. I was five back starting today and won by one. It's a crazy sport. You've just got to keep your head down and play hard."

Vegas had five straight birdies on Nos. 2-6, bogeyed the par-4 eighth and also birdied the par-5 13th.

Challenge Tour - Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge

Alexander Bjӧrk made it three Swedish golfing successes in as many weeks as he followed Henrik Stenson’s victory at the Open Championship and Alex Noren's Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open triumph by winning Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge.

Trailing by two shots heading into the final round at Golf PGA France du Vaudreuil, the Swede held his nerve to card a two under par 69 and finish on 14 under par overall, one shot clear of Nick Cullen and Aaron Rai.

Web.com Tour - Utah Championship presented by Zions Bank

Every time Nicholas Lindheim’s lead got shaky Sunday, the self-taught 31-year-old brought his best golf as an answer. When Lindheim’s lead dropped to just two shots at the 15th tee after a J.J. Spaun birdie, Lindheim striped a 4-iron that nearly went in before stopping just 2 feet from the hole on the way to a birdie. That was the type of mettle Lindheim, a two-time winner on PGA TOUR Latinoamerica, showed throughout Sunday’s final round, securing his first career Web.com Tour at the Utah Championship presented by Zions Bank with a final-round, 2-under 69 at the Golf Club at Thanksgiving Point.

Lindheim’s 15-under 269 edged Spaun by two shots and moves him into 14th on the Web.com Tour money list after starting the week in 83rd.

“It’s amazing. It’s beyond belief,” Lindheim said. “Yeah, I don’t even know. It’s awesome. I’m very happy, and my family will be even happier.”

Japan Golf Tour - Dunlop SRIXON Fukushima Open Golf Tournament

22 year old Ryuko Tokimatsu has won his first Japan Tour event with a three shot victory at the Dunlop Srixon Fukushima Open.

Tokimatsu led by five shots heading into the final round winning by three moving from World No. 1232 to 394.

Alps Tour Golf - Alps de Las Castillas

France’s Victor Perez won his maiden title thanks to final round 67. He managed to tame Lerma golf course to put his hands on Alps de Las Castillas trophy with -15 total. Spain’s Daniel Berna and France’s Fabien Marty are tie for second place two shots back.

Overnight challenger, Raphaël Marguery, second heading to last round, could not do better than level par today and slept to 5th place. The best score of the day was recorded by double winner Franck Daux with 65, -7. He finished 7th and confirmed his third place at Alps Tour ranking. Wallace is still untouchable but Perez is now at second place with almost 2000 points more than Daux. Marty is 6th behind Di Nitto 4th and Pitoni 5th.
