PGA Tour – RBC Heritage

Matt Kuchar holed a 20-yard bunker shot to birdie the final hole and claim a one-shot victory over Luke Donald at the RBC Heritage in South Carolina on Sunday.

Minutes after three-putting the 17th hole from four feet when he had victory in his grasp, Kuchar bounced back to end a frustrating run of near-misses on the PGA Tour. He registered a final round seven-under 64 to finish at 11-under at Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island, having birdied seven of the first 10 holes.

Asian and European Tour – Maybank Malaysian Open

Lee Westwood ended a near two-year absence from the winner’s circle in style as he recorded his 40th worldwide career victory by seven shots at the Maybank Malaysian Open.

The Englishman started the day one ahead of compatriot Andy Sullivan and moved into a commanding four shot lead before the threat of lightning forced play to be suspended for over four hours at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club.

Any doubts about the former World Number One seeing out the job over the last seven holes when play restarted were quickly extinguished, as Westwood moved six clear with a birdie at the 13th before parring his way to the last, where he sunk a 15 footer for a fourth gain of the day.

Japan Golf Tour – Token Homemate Cup

Yusaku Miyazato carded a 6-under 65 on Sunday to claim a 2-stroke victory at the Token Homemate Cup.

Miyazato earned his second career victory on the Japan Golf Tour at 14-under- par 270.

Miyazato entered the final round a shot behind overnight leader Daisuke Maruyama, but quickly raced ahead by starting his day with five straight birdies.

PGA Tour LatinoAmerica – 83rd Abierto OSDE del Centro presented by FiberCorp

William Kropp, a 24-year-old rookie from Oklahoma, managed to hold off local favorite Ángel Cabrera to win the 83rd Abierto OSDE del Centro presented by FiberCorp on Sunday.

His victory at the Cordoba Golf Club, in Cabrera’s hometown of Villa Allende, was his first in just five career starts on the NEC Series-PGA TOUR Latinoamérica.

Kropp finished at 8-under par 276, one shot ahead of the 2007 U.S. Open and 2009 Masters champion. Cabrera was trying to win the tournament for the ninth time in his career and he was also seeking to become the first three-time champion on PGA TOUR Latinoamérica.

PGA Tour China – Mission Hills Haikou Open

When the final round of the Mission Hills Haikou Open began, there appeared to be a sliver of hope that someone could catch J.H. Wang, who held a seven-shot lead when the day began. Xin Jun Zhang had cut Wang’s advantage to three shots at one point on the front nine, and it seemed there might be a battle.

Then, the 18-year-old Wang, who played like a veteran campaigner, put his foot on the gas one last time, essentially lapping the field and winning the inaugural event on the China Tour–PGA TOUR China series by a dominating 10 strokes.

Korean Golf Tour – Dongbu Promi Open
