PGA Tour – Shell Houston Open

After shooting a six-under-par 66 to tie overnight leader Matt Kuchar, Australian Matt Jones claimed victory at the Shell Houston Open at the first extra hole with a chip-in birdie. The chip-in was Jones’ second consecutive unlikely birdie on the Golf Club of Houston’s difficult 18th hole. Jones closed regulation by making a 46-foot birdie putt. The win takes Jones into the World's Top 50 for the first time, up 49 spots to 41st, and earns him a place in the 2014 Masters Tournament Field.

European Tour/Challenge Tour – NH Collection Open

Marco Crespi insisted a good start was key as he won his first European Tour title at the NH Collection Open in Spain. The 35 year old, who came through Qualifying School at the 11th attempt in November to earn a first season on The European Tour, completed victory on only his 25th career start. A three under par 69 gave the Italian a ten under total at La Reserva de Sotogrande Club de Golf and a two shot win over Spain’s Jordi Garcia Pinto and Scotland’s Richie Ramsay. The Italian Rookie climbs from World Number 258 to 167.

Sunshine Tour - Telkom Business PGA Championship

It’s been six years and four months since Titch Moore won a Sunshine Tour title, but after a play-off lasting five holes with Ulrich van den Bergand, Moore made birdie to claim the Telkom Business PGA Championship title and secure a World Ranking jump of 190 positions to 306th.
