Nick Watney finished two strokes ahead of fellow American Dustin Johnson to win the WGC-Cadillac Championship at the TPC Blue Monster at Doral in Miami. In the second of this season's WGC events Watney closed with a brilliant birdie for a five under par 67 and an aggregate of 272, 16 under par. Joint third on 13 under par were Dane Anders Hansen and Italian Francesco Molinari. This is Watney's third PGA Tour win, following those in 2007 and 2009 and moves Watney to a career high of 15th in the Official World Golf Ranking, a jump of 16 places.

Michael Bradley won the Puerto Rico Open for the second time in his career after beating Troy Matteson in a play-off. The two Americans tied at 16 under after 72 holes at the Trump International Golf Club in Rio Grande. Playing the 18th again, a par proved enough for Bradley to secure his fourth PGA Tour title, a win that takes him to World Number 226, up 336 spots.

The Abierto International Copa Antioquia at Club Campestre in Colombia was won by Argentina’s Joaquin Estevez who produced a grandstand finish birdieing the last four holes of regulation play before winning a play-off, over Charles Russo from France, with a yet another birdie. The win takes Estevez to World Number 478.
