The weather delayed WGC-CA Championship was finally concluded on Monday at Doral Golf Resort & Spa, Miami, Florida with 2006 US Open Champion Geoff Ogilvy picking up the title with a final round of 71 for a single stroke victory over Retief Goosen, Vijay Singh and Jim Furyk. With this, his second World Golf Championship win, Ogilvy moves into the World Top 10 with a seven place jump to 10th in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Alastair Forsyth beat Hennie Otto at the first extra hole to win the Madeira Islands Open BPI - Portugal title after both players had birdied their 72nd holes to tie on 15 under par 273. Forsyth holed from seven feet to win the play-off with a birdie three as the players returned to the 18th and with this second career win climbs 70 places to World Number 109. Otto improves his World Ranking by 81 spots to 146.

Greg Kraft shot a 70 to finish a stroke ahead of Bo Van Pelt and Jerry Kelly with 14 under par total and victory at the inaugural Puerto Rico Open presented by Banco Popular at Trump International Puerto Rico in Rio Grande. With his first PGA Tour win since the Deposit Guaranty Classic in Mississippi 15 years ago Kraft jumps 329 positions to 253 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Chinese Taipei star Lin Wen-tang battled through inclement weather to lift the inaugural Asian Tour International title, his third win in three years on the Asian Tour, thanks to a blistering eight-under-par 64 in the final round at the Pattana Golf and Sports Resort. His five stroke victory moves Lin to World Number 125, and upward surge of 57 positions.
