Raphael Jacquelin triumphed by at the BMW Asian Open by two shots from Denmark's Soren Kjeldsen with a 10-under-par score of 278, despite posting a final round of 73 at a wet and windy Tomson Shanghai Pudong GC. The Frenchman had led the tournament at the end of each day and his second European Tour win takes him to World Number 61 as rise of 43 positions.

The Frenchman had led the tournament at the end of each day and his second European Tour win takes him to World Number 61 as rise of 43 positions.

Nick Watney claimed victory in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans by three strokes with a final round of 69. Watney began the day two ahead of playing partner Ken Duke and despite losing the lead mid way through the final round he held on to secure his maiden PGA Tour win. He climbs 57 places to World Number 93.

Australian Brendan Jones successfully defended the Tsurura Open the picking up his sixth Japan Golf Tour victory in the process. The win moves him up 116 places to World Number 168.

This week's other winners were Martin Laird at the Athens Regional Foundation Classic on the Nationwide Tour, Michael Hoey at the Tessali-Metaponto Open di Puglia e Basilicata on the European Challenge Tour and Wes Heffernan at the Northern California Classic on the Canadian Tour.
